Senior Legal (IP/Intellectual Property)  

You will be part of the Tokopedia Legal team that advises the company and other teams within Tokopedia for all Intellectual Property related matters, including:

• IP portofolio management
• Trademark, Copyright, Patent, and Defensive Publication filing
• Prosecution and enforcement strategy
• IP risk prevention and mitigation

Job Description:

• Provide legal support to other teams in expanding the company’s IP portfolio and resolving IP issues.
• Preparation of legal advice and correspondence.
• Liaise with outside counsel.
• Legal research on IP regulatory issues.
• Be a part of the anti-counterfeit initiative.
• Manage and monitorTokopedia’s infringement form request via tkp.me/lapor

• Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent required
• Minimum of four two (4) years’ experience in handling IP as inhouse counsel or IP firm
• Excellent and has in-depth understanding of ecommerce and marketplace laws and other investment-related regulations
• Working knowledge for technology services and platform and online business is preferred
• Having an advocate license or IP consultant license is a plus
• Experience in drafting (Indonesian and English) legal documentation
• Good business writing and effective interpersonal and communications skills, in Indonesian and English
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and business partnering skills
• Able to be proactive and initiative
