	<li>Assist with the flow of information between the account &amp; its clients</li>
	<li>Liaise with ATO on client matters</li>
	<li>Input data using Xero Online accounting software</li>
	<li>Prepare draft Business Activity Statement (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statement (IAS) for further review by the offshore Accountants</li>
	<li>Prepare and analyse Financial Statements, for review by the offshore Accountants</li>
	<li>Prepare ATO applications such as ABN, TFN, GST and PAYG</li>
	<li>Handle business entity set-up and registration</li>
	<li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant taxation and other related legislation and rulings</li>
	<li>Assist with bookkeeping tasks</li>
	<li>Communicate with direct manager on workflow matters</li>
	<li>Prepare financial statements in accordance with all current, legal and accounting reporting standards</li>
	<li>Identify, research and/or resolve all complex accounting issues</li>
	<li>Prepare workpapers and workflow reports for clients</li>
	<li>Analyse management accounting reports and provide advice to clients</li>
	<li>Performing other tasks as required by the client and the management.</li>
</ul>

 

Other responsibilities may include:

	<li>Prepare clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed</li>
	<li>Apply knowledge of the business environment within which the client is operating and how the client is positioned in the industry</li>
	<li>Share knowledge, best practices, and industry market trends to actively increase the overall knowledge of the team</li>
	<li>Ensure processing of information into the Firm’s systems has been properly recorded</li>
	<li>Provide other support as necessary to the client</li>
	<li>Maintain current files and records accurate, and date any actions and detailed file notes</li>
	<li>Participate in internal and external training as required</li>
	<li>Review junior staff work papers and ensure appropriate evidence is documented</li>
	<li>Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing other tasks as requested by the client.</li>
