Job Summary:

As a Copyright, Patent, and Trademark Infringement Prevention Assistant, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our intellectual property rights. Your responsibilities will revolve around identifying potential infringements, monitoring various marketplaces, utilizing software for detection, and taking appropriate actions to protect our copyrights, patents, and trademarks.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular searches to identify potential copyright, patent, and trademark infringements.
• Monitor online marketplaces, websites, and platforms for unauthorized use of intellectual property.
• Utilize RedPoint and other software tools to manage and track infringement instances effectively.
• Report identified infringements promptly and accurately to the designated authorities or platforms.
• Prepare and file cease and desist notices based on provided legal templates.
• Complete and submit DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) form takedown requests as required.
• Monitor ongoing infringement activities and track infringers' activities for further action.
• Ensure that reports on infringements are acted upon by third-party enforcement agencies or relevant authorities.
• Escalate significant infringement cases or unresolved issues to the legal team for further action and guidance.

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Intellectual Property, or related field
• Atleast 3 years experience in copyright, patent, or trademark infringement prevention roles.
• Proficiency in using RedPoint for managing and tracking infringement cases.
• Understanding of intellectual property laws and regulations, including the DMCA.
• Ability to perform thorough searches and monitor online platforms effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in identifying infringements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with legal procedures related to cease and desist notices and takedown requests.
• Proactive mindset with the capability to escalate issues appropriately.
