Compensation and Benefits Specialist  

The Compensation and Benefits Specialist owns the whole benefit administration process, and maintains and manages the Human Resource Information System and all the employee records.

Benefits Administration

• Oversees implementation of all standard processes related to the administration of company and statutory benefits.
• Ensures compliance to all government requirements of the four government agencies (SSS, Philhealth, Pag-ibig and BIR) to ensure statutory benefits (i.e. maternity and sickness claims, salary loans, Philhealth claims etc.) are processed without delay.
• Ensures all government remittances (SSS, Philhealth & Pag-ibig) are paid and posted as scheduled.
• Ensures that new guidelines from government agencies are implemented company-wide.
• Oversees and tracks all engagements with various benefits vendors including HMOs, insurance provider, uniform suppliers etc.
• Oversees timely and accurate processing of all company benefits (i.e. MPA, PER, company maternity benefit etc).
• Builds a good partnership with SSS, Philhealth and Pag-ibig and all the company’s benefit providers.

HRIS and Employee Records

• Acts as the overall administrator of the Human Resource Information System
• Ensures that all employee records (i.e. employee 201, government numbers, leave credits etc.) are encoded correctly in the HRIS to reflect accurate employee profile and leave reports at E-portal.
• Ensures that all timekeeping records (i.e. DTRs, new employees, transfers etc.) are correctly encoded in the HRIS to generate accurate payroll reports and horror list reports.
• Acts as the custodian of all employee data and records ensuring that these are kept confidential.
• Prepares contracts for newly regularized employees.

Others

• Supervises and coaches the TWR Associate and monitors individual and team performance.
• Ensures compliance to all DOLE assessment requirements.
• Provides support and recommendations for process improvements.
• Recommends revisions of benefits related policies.
• Performs other assigned HR activities

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources.
• Good understanding of the Labor Code and all statutory benefits-related processes and requirements.
• Detail and process-oriented; highly organized.
• Analytical and a problem-solver.
• Pleasant, highly credible with above average communication skills.
• Non-smoker.
• Patient and persistent.
