Assistant Research Manager 2  

This role oversees the conduct and provision of research support/ data/ analyses/ insights/ reports/ servicing for the Network, including customized research studies for News & Public Affairs Group and other support departments as guided/assigned/approved by his/her immediate superior. Ensures/ oversees (by planning, organizing, leading & controlling) that such tasks, outputs and all other related tasks of his/her section are performed according to set standards of quality, accuracy, efficiency and timeliness. Performs administrative functions as well as other technical functions, as may be required. Performs all his/her functions with the close supervision/guidance/approval of his/her superior.

• Graduate of BS Statistics/Mathematics, BA Communication Research or other related courses
• With at least 4 years work experience in market/consumer research, media research, advertising research or other related fields
• With at least 2 years client servicing experience in media / market research or advertising industry
• Good working knowledge of basic statistical tests/concepts and various types of research studies/surveys, preferably both quantitative and qualitative
• Excellent numerical, analytical and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Filipino
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Software, particularly in Excel
• Keen on details / figures / accuracy
• Knowledge in automation of reports (using Excel / MS Access), database management, data programming or use of macros / other database applications, an advantage
