Mining Engineer  

The Process/Mining Engineer will work closely with the existing team of mining engineers, geologists and process engineers to analyse (Steel, Coal, Oil & Gas etc.) operations across the globe and provide valuable insight on the Mining Industry to our clients. Your primary role will be completing site-by-site research and analysis and writing insightful and engaging reports for our clients and social media.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have sound knowledge of the commodities, metals and/or mining industries coupled with strong client service/management skills and commercial acumen. The ability to think critically whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail is paramount.

• At least six months of experience in the Bauxite/Alumina/resources industry
• Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Geology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Language skills
• Some exposure to site-based technical studies would be an advantage
• Ability to present information in formal or informal settings to all levels of an organisation
• A genuine interest in the commercial side of the sector
