Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Lead in strategic planning and management, including the formulation and implementation of the faculty development program
- Assist in the formulation of institutional policies
- Exercise overall supervision of all academic and non-academic personnel of the college or department
- Coordinate with the office concerned with student affairs
- Lead research and extension activities among faculty and students, including technology innovation and commercialization activities
- Oversee the formation, implementation and evaluation of plans and programs for development and the supervision/coordination of activities and services for the advancement of goals and objectives of the program
- Help enforce the school's rules and laws affecting education
- Exercise educational leadership and accountability over assignment of academic load to faculty members; appointment, promotion, retirement, termination of and disciplinary actions against faculty members and non-teaching personnel
- Undertake periodic curriculum review, revision, and development with the assistance of the faculty members in the degree program concerned
- Prepare course offerings, institute methodologies of instruction, adopt and recommend appropriate instructional and reference materials, and recommend books to add to the library
- Initiate and monitor development of academic and industrial linkages , extension and outreach programs, and career and internship placement programs
- Teach subjects (6-9 units per trimester)
- Assist in other relevant task as assigned by the Dean or VP for Academics
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Candidate must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, with at least 3 years of CS work, consultancy or research experience, or tertiary level teaching experience within the last 5 years
- Or at least a Master's degree in a Computer Science allied program, with completion of Bachelor's degree in CS or completion of all coursework requirements for a Master's degree in CS
