- Test off-reel on basis weight, caliper, moisture, smoothness, porosity, tear, tensile, stiffness, brightness, opacity, ink penetration, dirt count, formation, Lab values, RCT, CMT, cobb, and burst.
- Test off-winder rolls for basis weight and caliper and classify them as saleable or reject depending on test results.
- Measures the width of finished rolls every change size / IMO.
- Inspect finished roll for any physical defects and classify them as saleable or reject.
- Inspect finished roll markings and wrapping conditions.
- Conducts calibration of all testing equipment.
- Records test results and inform operator for any results not within specification.
- Adjust dosages of chemicals and dyestuffs if test results are not within specification.
- Adjust furnish ratio and combination based on dirt count level and wet-end test results.
- Inform supervisor for any roll defects for proper adjustment.
Assists Process Engineer in all process works.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Must be BS Chemistry or BS Chemical Engineering graduate\
- With or without experience but must undergo six (6) months in-house actual training
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
