  • The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for managing all HR operations, as well as HR Strategy, Benefits, Employee Relations, and Employee Development & Coaching
  • The Director will have an opportunity to hire junior HR professionals to build a strong HR team.
  • As Director, you will lead, plan, direct, develop and coordinate policies, and activities for the Company, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization’s mission and talent strategy.
  • This role will be an integral part of the Company’s Leadership team, responsible for collaborating with different department heads to enhance employee experience and optimize efficacy of all teams.
  • Job Responsibilities:
  • As our Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Counsel all Senior Leaders on matters affecting their employees and their departments
  • Advise on human resource matters relating to strategy and policy creation
  • Address employee relations issues, including work complaints and other employee concerns
  • Conduct disciplinary investigations, with detailed documentation of all employee relations matters
  • Review, update and maintain human resources policies and procedures, including employee handbooks and directories, performance evaluation forms, various personnel transactions, benefits plan participation, organizational charts, and statistics
  • Interface with payroll for accurate record-keeping and proper deductions
  • Manage health insurance with HMO provider to ensure support for covered employees
  • Work closely with all departments for their requirements
  • Manage the talent acquisition process, including placing job descriptions, sourcing, screening, interviewing candidates, conducting background checks and drug screens, extending job offers, and facilitating the onboarding process
  • Develop and implement policies and programs that assist with talent development and retention
  • Manage the annual performance review process, including company-wide analysis of compensation and benefits
  • Develop, update, and maintain training and development policies, procedures, and recommendations based on job positions and levels
  • Ensure compliance with statutory contributions, reporting regulations and local employment laws

Kualifikasi Minimum

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, personnel, business administration or related degree.
  • 8-10 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Natural team builder with great interpersonal instincts and insights
  • Able to work with all departments and represent the HR department with professionalism and integrity.
  • Highly skilled in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in providing excellent customer service with the highest degree of professionalism. Enthusiasm for creating lasting client relationships both internally
  • Creative, flexible, proactive, and highly motivated.
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and time management skills and ability to prioritize projects to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) from HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential.
  • Ability to travel to job sites within the local area as needed within DC and Montgomery County, MD.
  • All candidates for consideration must submit to a background check and drug test, and produce outcomes that meet the standards of the Company for hire.
  • This role requires proof of vaccination against COVID-19, subject to accommodation for religious or medical reasons considered on a case-by-case basis.
