Structuring and Regulatory Compliance Officer  

This requirement is for Aboitiz InfraCapital, Inc. (AIC), the infrastructure arm of Aboitiz.

The Structuring and Regulatory Officer is responsible for assisting the AVP - Structuring and Regulatory Compliance in evaluating and recommending the appropriate commercial and legal structure(s) for each business development project, taking into consideration the technical, financial, and legal risks. The Structuring and Regulatory Officer will also take primary responsibility for smaller-value projects.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assist the AVP – Structuring and Regulatory Compliance in analysing the various elements and components of the AIC’s projects and transactions
• Spearhead discussions with and provide guidance to the relevant AEV/AIC Corporate Service Units in identifying and assessing the various technical, financial, and legal risks of AIC’s smaller-value projects
• Assist the AVP – Structuring and Regulatory Compliance in supervising the Compliance Specialist and actively participate in the setting up of the central database of all major and periodic permits needed by AIC and its subsidiaries, from project development to implementation and operations
• Actively participate in the cascade of the regulatory compliance checklists to the appropriate AIC Business Units
• Reviews the various project agreements (concession agreements, financing agreements, EPC, and other major contracts) to identify and assess the compliance requirements

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree, preferably a graduate of Business-related courses, Public Administration, or Political Science
• Must possess a degree in Law
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project structuring, preferably in infrastructure projects and transactions
• Member of the Philippine Bar
