Chief Operating Officer

The VICE Indonesia as a group shall produce and sell content, digital media and print into media agencies, creative agencies and direct clients across the media industry. This role will entail assuming business directors responsibility for operations, planning and finance in Indonesia and regionally and liasing and communication with global to ensure that we are working within the agreed framework and systems. You will be joining a small, lean but fast paced and innovative team and will be charged with making a significant contribution to ambitious company revenue targets, located at SCBD, Jakarta, Indonesia.

• Prepare the annual budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze monthly financial statements and assist management in taking actions to meet budget.
• Prepare budget for customer projects (video production, events, etc.).
• Analyze web sites statistics for the Indonesian traffic and prepare monthly management reports.
• Review purchase invoices, get them approved and allocate them to projects.
• Supervise the production accountant working on TV production projects.
• Assist with budget follow-up for the new office construction to take place this spring and summer.
• Review expense reports completed by sales and production employees. Participate in the implementation of an expense reports reporting system.
• Participate in the implementation of a time sheet system for production employees.
• Perform other accounting functions: Petty cash management, corporate credit cards management, daily cash receipts.
• Sales invoice requests coordination between the sales team and the finance department.
• The analyst will have to work closely with the production team and the sales department based in Jakarta.
• To undertake such other tasks including general administrative duties as may be required from time to time.
• Expand and bring to the table fresh new ideas and utilizing new media
• Be always informed and up to date with the VICE Verticals and goals.
• To be an ambassador for the business at all times.

• Bachelor degree in accounting or business administration.
• CPA designation is a plus.
• Minimum experience of 5 years.
• Experience in the following business industry: consulting services, on-line advertising revenues, video production.
• Film and tv production experience is a plus
• Very good knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft GP is a plus.
