AboitizPower

This position is responsible for providing cross-functional support to the various Legal and Compliance team pillars.

 

He/she shall provide technical and administrative paralegal support, such as generation and preparation of legal documentation, monitoring and updating of legal developments, processing of permits, licenses, and authorizations, assisting in research and investigations, liaising with government agencies, collating, generating and preparing reports, presentation materials and projects files, and assisting in such other legal-related matters and special projects as may be required from time to time. The position is also responsible for developing and implementing document control processes and maintenance of related databases, and ensuring proper records management is maintained.

 

As needed, the paralegal shall also assist in the performance of corporate secretarial, housekeeping, and board secretariat functions for assigned AboitizPower business units (BUs). He/she shall assist the corporate secretarial team in ensuring that the BUs’ corporate records are complete, updated, and accessible and that day-to-day corporate housekeeping matters are attended to within the service level agreements (SLAs). He/she also ensures that the BUs assigned to him/her, in general, are aligned with Aboitiz Group practices and policies in order to ensure minimal regulatory non-compliances.

Stradcom Corporation is the IT Company behind the computerization of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) of the Philippine government.

Facilities Engineer

Summary of Work Activities and Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Assistant to the Director for Operations, the Residential Operations Assistant attends to the reservation and admission of potential residents and transients, handles their check-in and out, serves as front-desk support, and assists with the general upkeep of the rooms.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

I. URH Reservations, Applications, and Admissions Management

<ul>
	<li>Assists with queries of potential residents and transients and monitors the various communication channels of URH</li>
	<li>Processes reservations of URH rooms and facilities
	<ul>
		<li>Prepares the reservation forms and receives and processes dorm reservation and application, ensuring all necessary documents are in order</li>
		<li>Assists in the review of previous residents’ files for any concerns and flags them to the Assistant to the Director for Operations for consideration</li>
		<li>Prepares the acceptance letters and dorm kits, and communicates the house rules to the incoming residents</li>

	<li>Updates the URH resident database and prepares present headcount report, including tagging resident students in AISIS</li>

II. Facilities Upkeep and Maintenance

	<li>Conducts regular inspection of common spaces and grounds maintenance, and schedules room inspection to ensure that the general upkeep of the facilities is well-maintained and that needed repairs are coordinated properly</li>
	<li>Assists in coordination of resident-related concerns with the appropriate offices and helps in the monitoring and resolution of these concerns</li>
	<li>Coordinates closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor for the URH in ensuring that a high-standard of cleanliness and over-all upkeep of the URH complex is maintained at all times</li>

III. Room Check-in and Check-out Management

		<li>Coordinates the room check and clean-up to ensure that everything in the room is still accounted for, including the return of room keys</li>

IV. Frontline and Office Support

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the operation of Heavy Equipment (e.g. payloader, skid loader, forklift, and manlift), Stacker/Reclaimer or Ship Unloader in accordance with company policies, standard operating procedures, established rules and regulations, and equipment specifications.

This position is responsible for facilitating safe, reliable and efficient coal yard operations (Heavy Equipment), coal storing and reclaiming (Stacker/Reclaimer) , as well as coal unloading from the coal delivery ship (Unloader).

Duties and Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>Operates Heavy Equipment, Stacker/Reclaimer or Unloader following equipment operating procedures and specifications for efficient and safe operation of coal yard (for HE and Stacker/Reclaimer) and unloading coal delivery from the shift (Unloader).</li>
	<li>Monitors record using checklists and evaluates equipment operating conditions to detect deviations from standards and/or other operating problems and executes necessary corrective measures. Promptly reports to the Supervisor and problems that cannot be resolved by the incumbent for appropriate action.</li>
	<li>Observes proper turnover procedures before leaving the post or taking over the next shift to ensure smooth turnover of responsibilities.</li>
	<li>Prepares and submits regular status reports on Heavy Equipment operation and maintenance for reference and control. </li>
	<li>Coordinates with immediate superior the stacking location inside coal dome for new coal deliveries following the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) sequence in storing coal.</li>

	<li>Coordinates with SCADA Operator during the coal handling operation to ensure safe and efficient forwarding of unloading of coal.</li>
	<li>Monitors, records and reports coal temperature to identify possible hotspot or spontaneous combustion and coordinates with Supervisor and HE Operator to mitigate hotspot.</li>
	<li>Records coal temperature monitoring in a monitoring sheet at the beginning and end of shift.</li>
	<li>Records in log sheet the start and end of coal forwarding to silo/s.</li>
	<li>Coordinates with SCADA Operator on the status of conveyors during coal unloading operation to ensure safe transfer of delivered coal from the ship to the coal dome.</li>
	<li>Records operations parameters in log sheet during coal unloading operation and submits to Supervisor.</li>
	<li>Inspects, maintains and troubleshoots Heavy Equipment, Stacker/Reclaimer or Unloader to keep them in good working order at all times. Reports problems encountered to immediate Supervisor for information and/or appropriate action.</li>
	<li>Coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment with the Maintenance Department to ensure optimum performance.</li>
	<li>Maintains and conducts regular cleaning of equipment and proper housekeeping to eliminate coal dust accumulation to prevent fire accidents.</li>
	<li>Reports problems encountered to the supervisor for information and/or appropriate action. Prepares work requests for corrective maintenance.</li>
	<li>Monitors, records and evaluates equipment operating conditions, based on parameters, to detect deviations from standards and/or other operating problems, and executes necessary corrective measures. Promptly reports to the Supervisor any problems that cannot be resolved by the incumbent for appropriate action.</li>
