Ronald P. De Vera began his own law practice. Atty. De Vera graduated from the University of the Philippines College of Law (with honors) in 2004 and placed second in the national bar examinations that was given that same year. He is a recipient of the prominent Monbugakusho (Japanese Government) Scholarship, and finished his Master of Law (Japanese Program) at Kyushu University Faculty of Law in 2010. Atty. De Vera also has received training in international legal practice and has worked in international law firms. He is a member of the Inter Pacific Bar Association and is also a professor at the College of Law of Lyceum of the Philippines University. His work regarding secured credit transactions has been published in the UP Law Journal. He also now serves as the Head of the Legal Department of Sumitomo Metal Mining Philippine Holdings Corporation.
