Job Description
- Taking a leading role in our transformation to become a data driven company.
- Responsible to take care of Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data lifecycle management as well as Data quality with the goal to establish a real time big data analytics environment.
- Overseeing daily activities and projects of the data processing team based on definde workflows and SOPs.
- Schedule and monitor data processing job such as end-of-day processing, full system backups, new account set-up and running reports/queries.
- Organizing and cataloging data, performing quality control checks, identifying job problems, and ensuring that job orders are completed according to schedule.
- Identify system probles, recommend appropriate solutions, troubleshoot problems related to data processing.
- Train the team on data processing techniques and practices and frequently evaluate teams performance for productivity, capability and technical expertise.
- Build strong relationship with costumers, analyze their needs, determine related system enhancements.
- Coaching and mentoring team in daily activities and project work to strive for superior results.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role as leader
- A minimum 10 years experience in ETL/ELT tools such as: Talend & Informatica, CDC tools such as Attunity and Oracle Golden Gate, event processing using kafka and kafka stream or spark stream, experience in orchestration using airflow or nifi
- A minimum 10 years experience in RDBMS such as: Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL and My SQL, NOSQL Database (Hive, MongoDB, Cassandra), big data storage (Cloudera, AWS, Azzure, Google)
- Understanding of Master Data Management technology landscape, processes, and design principles
- Operational familiarity in the use of meta-data management, data quality and data stewardship tools and platforms
- Hands-on operational management and change management
- Proven track record in operating large data governance programs
