Customer Development Executive  

Develops and executes various initiatives that will build OEC business in his/her assigned accounts in a cost-efficient manner. These plans will ensure the consistent delivery of key result areas on volume/gross sales, distribution (opening of new accounts), merchandising, introduction of new products and minimize inventory of non-moving, slow-moving and defective stocks in assigned accounts - consistent with the defined OEC Targets

• Sales (Volume & Value) - Consistently meets the sales monthly, quarterly and annual volume objectives thru effective implementation of sales processes, channel/account strategies, and trade programs.
• Distribution/Merchandising - Achieves objectives and execute processes and programs that optimize product availability and exposure, including of new product introductions, as well as the maintenance of shelf planograms in the assigned accounts. Secures strategic locations inside & outside of the store where merchandising materials can be installed at the least possible cost.
• Opening of New Accounts - Evaluates DIY stores within the assigned territory and recommends if OEC products should be introduced in these accounts considering target market, location, and potential sales.
• Inventory Management at Store Level - Ensures all fast-moving SKUs have sufficient inventory all the time, especially during promotions. Minimizes, if NOT eliminate any slow-moving and non-moving SKUs.
• Unsaleable Merchandise or Defective Stocks - To ensure that trade returns within the OEC acceptable level thru strict, consistent implementation of trade return guidelines across all accounts, and helping these accounts observe and comply with proper product handling and storage practices to minimize defectives.
• Trade Relations - Cultivates and maintains productive working relationships with key personnel of the assigned accounts while observing proper decorum on the job to project and protect the good image of the company.
• Asset Management - Maintains, protects and fully utilizes all company assets assigned to the incumbent.
• Trade and Business Development - Exploits business opportunities within the assigned territory by addressing trade/ account issues, conducting account business reviews, initiating business-building programs and/or tapping into account-initiated programs that promote sales and brand exposure.
• Promo Effectiveness - Ensures all recommended programs conforms to the agreed strategies, monitors implementation and reviews evaluation based on actual results.
• Information System and Administrative Requirements - Utilizes available sales data and account information to enhance understanding, analysis and building the business while ensuring that all records, reports and other administrative requirements expected from the incumbent are updated, accomplished properly and submitted on time. Administrative requirements include the immediate reporting of competitive activities as they occur in the trade.
• Forecasting - Utilizes data provided by Customer Services Team in developing Sales Volume forecast per SKU per store (monthly, quarterly and annual volume forecast) and evaluates gaps or misses for recalibration in future periods.

• Bachelor Degree of College on any four (4) course: Marketing, Economics or Business Management major or equivalent
• Selling experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry is an advantage
• Clear, persuasive, oral and written communication skills
• Negotiating Skills
• Strong in building value-based relationships with key customers
• Willing to be assigned in Pasay City, can start immediately
