The company is the developer of popular titles in the online gaming industry which are enjoyed by millions of gamers all around the world. The job is based in Makati City, Philippines.
Job summary
Our respected client is seeking an information technology (IT) professional with at least three (3) proven years of experience on .Net programming for the job of Web Application Engineer. The winning candidate will become part of an integral team of professionals and will be based in Makati City, Manila, Philippines.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in project planning sessions with various stakeholders to analyze business / technology requirements and outline the proposed technology solution.
- Actively applies feedback received to day-to-day work and strives to improve performance.
- Understands the professional development process and becomes actively involved by setting challenging goals and meeting them through continuous learning.
- Accurately completes and submits status reports in a timely manner.
- Create and update documentation for all applications, systems and processes created.
- Assists in the coding, and testing of technical solutions.
- Can work flexible and long hours.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree. Graduate of Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience whose main task includes analyzing, designing, developing and deploying Enterprise-wide solution. In particular, using the following technologies:ASP.Net, MVC and web service programming, C#, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).NET Framework 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, Visual Studio 2013, 2010, 2008, 2005, HTML, XML/XSL, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Database design, Stored procedures and normalization in Microsoft SQL database and MS SQL 2005, 2008 , 2012, 2014
- Experience in Agile software development methodology.
- Solid knowledge of Object Oriented design and programming.
- Experience with the entire development lifecycle – (requirements management through deploy and support)
- Proficient in website management under IIS and Content management systems
- Experience in networks, electronics, and web technologies is a plus.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including partner developers, internal managers and subject matter experts.
- Comfortable working independently in a dynamic and challenging environment.
