Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), an investment holding company, engages in the tollways business activities in the Philippines. It constructed and operated some of the Philippines' major expressways such as NLEX, SCTEX, and CAVITEX toll road facilities.
NLEX Corporation is looking for Paralegal Specialists who will draft responses to legal correspondence and attend to basic legal queries.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct factual investigation with the internal clients and secure documents required for filing a case or responsive pleadings or motions
- Conduct legal research of particular laws, rules and regulations pertaining to traffic, labor and criminal laws
- Review and validate compliance with specific laws, rules and regulations and issuance of regulatory bodies
- Act as liaison with government agencies relative to compliance with laws

Minimum Qualifications
Requirements:
- Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Legal Management or equivalent and must have completed units in Law
- Must have at least two (2) years of experience in law firms or legal department and have exposure in legal research and writing as well as attending to legal-related concerns
- Prior background in general principles of tort/quasi-delict, contract, labor laws, court rules and procedures is a definite advantage
- Willing to work in our Balintawak office
