Job Description
The tasks for the Business Development role would be:
- Prospect into strategic business accounts via cold call, email and social strategies. Perform appointment setting and other general cold contacting
- Drive sales growth and pipeline through setting up qualified meetings for Account Managers
- Maintain and organize an annual book of business
- Use email marketing tools and CRM
- Manage and maintain pipeline with tech account managers
- Handle sales process from discovery, evaluation, solution and potentially close
- Communicate closely with internal sales support managers
- Be a subject matter expert and evangelist of key technologies with an expansive list of technology solutions
- Produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers and prospect accounts in order to book sales appointments and influence company revenue
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
- Experience in sales, marketing or related field.
- Experience in appointment setting and cold calling.
- Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
- Willing to work in PST time.
