- Providing legal analysis and advice to management and key stakeholders on various legal issues across Indonesia, and South-East Asia (“SEA”).
- Tackling large transactional projects, whilst managing day-to-day operations.
- Spearheading initiatives and special projects.
- Undertaking drafting, reviewing and negotiation of contracts.
- Managing shareholder and corporate secretarial matters.
- Dealing with some intellectual property matters.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in general corporate and transactional work.
- A solid understanding of Indonesian region and markets. Some exposure to legal issues in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam and Hong Kong will be advantageous.
- The ability to work independently and cross-functionally, with different teams and across multiple jurisdictions.
- A minimum of 3 years’ legal experience, with a mix of law firm and in-house experience preferred.
- A problem solver who is able to understand the commercial rationale behind legal issues and obtain buy-in from management for legal advice.
- Hard-working, efficient under pressure and knows how to make appropriate prioritizations in order to reach desired goals.
- Ability to think on your feet and one (preferably three) step/s ahead, foresee upcoming problems and always ready to present a suggested solution.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal.
