Job Description
The Business Development Manager will report directly to the General Manager of UIC. Manage Business Development activities for the Company, driving sales activities and the acquisition of new business, lead all Sales Manager and ensure hitting of sales target and growth. Implement and execute Company policies, Departmental Standard Operating Procedures. Practice, maintain discipline and assign balance workloads to employees under your responsibility.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- New Product Development - sourcing new products or developing untapped markets.
- Research and build relationships with new clients.
- Work with technical staff and Consultant to meet customer needs.
- Technical presentation and promotion of the products to key accounts, feedmills, Integrators, and Distributors.
- Coordination of tests and translation of favorable trial data to present in marketing collaterals.
- Responsible for market analysis, execution of strategic marketing and sales plans.
- Assist in Product Registration.
- Responsible for training of sales personnel.
- Technical product development/strategies with a value proposition for customers.
- Lead sales team of Feeds Division (Sales Manager and Technical Sales)
- Will handle three division (Marine/Engineering Product, Chemical and Feeds and Marketing Administration)
- Participate in price setting and give recommendations.
- Drive peak performance and sales success across the organization.
- Attend industry function, such as association events, exhibits, and conference.
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
- Will be accountable for the Sales and Marketing Plan.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related courses.
- With at least 5 years of work experience as Business Development Manager, Sales Executive or relative.
- Strong knowledge/skills in people handling management.
- Must have extensive years of experience with proven sales results.
- Has the ability to negotiate and close new business.
- Has excellent verbal and written communication; interpersonal skills such as presentation skills, networking, research, sales planning, market knowledge and territory management.
