Marketing Automation Specialist  

The goFLUENT Marketing team is looking for a strong addition to our growing team who will be on top of our Marketing Automation process (using Marketo). This role will be highly focused on email marketing, maximizing Marketo as a tool for automation. Getting the right emails in to the right inboxes at the right time to improve open and click-through rates is just the basics of the role. You will be expected to develop and track email campaigns and assets alongside a team of content writers and web developers, work closely with the lead generation team to identify and execute outbound marketing campaigns, and ultimately drive our business marketing automation success.

Responsibilities

• Maximize Marketo as a tool to generate, analyze, and report on leads generated through marketing initiatives;
• Work with sales teams to prioritize, develop and execute on outbound email campaigns;
• Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database;
• Work with content, design, and tech teams to manage various email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in our email sends;
• Segment lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.);
• Work to minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing the productivity of our email sends;
• Participate in analyzing marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization;

• BS, BA (four year degree), preferably in Business, Marketing or other Business-related subjects;
• Must demonstrate general knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), or G-Suite
• 3 to 5 years experience with a post-secondary education in marketing or related fields;
• Strong analytical skills and data analysis;
• Past experience with email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and marketing analytics;
• Excellent writer and communicator.
