Logistics Supervisor  

Job Summary:
The Logistics Supervisor leads the Logistics team and is in charge of planning, directing, coordinating and supervising operations of delivery trucking (own and third party) to our customers in different parts of the Philippines.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Operational
1.1. Monitor deliveries and pick-ups to ensure items delivered to customers are complete, in
good condition and on time
1.2. Communicate with Sales team all delivery concerns
1.3. Review and look for third party logistics to support delivery needs in different areas
1.4. Review and negotiate contracts with third party logistics providers
1.5. Ensure adequate garage requirements for company fleet
2. Systems and Processes
2.1. Manage and ensure department cost are within cost target
2.2. Ensure current policies and standard operating procedures are followed
2.3. Optimize logistical operations by consistent review and evaluation of current processes
for improvement and/or to prevent issues

3. People Management
3.1. Ensures that tasks related to the department’s programs are completed on time,
executed per policy, and implemented in accordance with its objectives
3.2. Delegates and assigns tasks to team members to ensure optimal team performance
3.3. Ensures the development of logistics personnel through coaching and mentoring
3.4. Addresses any issues and concerns that may affect the performance of each team
member and the overall objective of the department
4. Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

● Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Business
Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
● Minimum of 2 years experience in Logistics
● Excellent communication and leadership abilities
● Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
