Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Management and Networking

  • Supports all departments of the bank, especially in providing answers to business questions and automating MIS extracts and dashboards
  • Collaborates with the Data Governance Manager by applying Data Governance principles are adhered to, which involves ensuring that data transformation and aggregation are consistent and well documented
  • Collaborates with the Technology Team in implementing DSM solutions into production
  • Collaborates with the Regional and Philippines Data Engineering and Infrastructure Teams to implement and automate MIS reports
  • Reports to the Head of Decision Science and Management and supports the rest of the DSM Team members in meeting the departmental KPIs and objectives


Functional

  • Assesses the business needs and objectives to be abel to design a methodology and share a project proposal that fulfills the business requirement
  • Translates business questions into the appropriate visuals to facilitate data storytelling
  • Designs, creates, and publishes dashboards as self-service solutions for end-users
  • Creates reports and transforms data findings into a format that the business understands
  • Performs data analysis, shares insights, and provides recommendation on tactical business decisions, such as but not limited to campaigns and marketing initiatives


Technical

  • Utilizes a variety of applications, such as SAS, SQL, R, PowerBI, Tableau, and/or QlikSense
  • Writes scripts to query data, join tables, aggregate and transform data
  • Creates data models in QlikSense and utilizes NPrinting to automate reports
  • Applies mathematical and statistical concepts to analyze data and provide insights
  • Documents scripts and formulas used for key metrics to create business transparency

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Business Administration, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering/Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Informatics are any related field

Relevant Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in campaigns, data science, analytics, BI, data engineering, and data analysis combined
  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in consulting, banking, credit, collections
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in managing stakeholders and working with technical resources


Required Competencies and Skills
Technical Skills

  • Databas/Querying languages: SQL, Hive, or SAS
  • Programmng languages: Python, R, or Bash
  • Documentation: Data dictionary, database diagrams, E/R diagrams, UAT test cases, or process flows
  • Data Visualization: Tableau, Power BI, or QlikSense (preferred)

  • Consulting background with knowledge of various processes and industries
  • Impact assesment to business metrics
  • Identification of business questions and opportunities
  • Data story telling and insight generation
