Job Description
- The Reports and Analytics Manager is responsible for overall management and organizing the reports and analytics function and team of analysts.
- Provides direction and oversees the work of the department by taking the lead on developing processes or effective data analysis and reporting.
- Also takes charge in translating raw data into valuable business insights.
- Understands both the short-term goals and long-term business strategy of an organization to develop recommendations on how best to put data analytics to use.
- Ability to produce understandable and actionable reports gleaned from data and help use data to drive high performance and quality in the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Economics, Engineering (Industrial), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Mathematics and Statistics or related field.
- 5 years of proven relevant experience as an Analytics Manager/Officer, Data Scientist, and/or Planning Manager/Officer
- Solid experience in data analysis and reporting; industry experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with data visualization (Tableau, Google Data Studio, Google Sites), databases, programming, as well as using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
- Technical knowledge regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
