Job Description
Will be responsible for identifying, implementing/ coordinating the implementation, monitoring and reporting of compliance to legal and other requirements applicable to the organization to manage reputations, eliminate risks related to non-compliance and related consequences.
Compliance Management:
- Implementation of compliance governance.
- Development, monitoring, and reporting of compliance registers.
- Collaboration with compliance owners to develop and implement compliance programs.
- Utilization of Compliance Management System in the group.
Stakeholder Management:
- Risk management on issues, cases, and issuances.
Compliance (Data Privacy):
- Support to Data Privacy Officer/s for inspections and audits.
- Definition and implementation of standard processes for Data Privacy.
- Review of Privacy Impact Assessment and guidance on compliance with Data Privacy Act (DPA) requirements.
- Expertise in Data Privacy matters.
Issuance/Legislation:
- Review of legislative updates and impact assessments.
- Participation in regulators' public consultations.
Contract Management:
- Monitoring and reporting on contract reviews.
- Review of contracts for compliance and escalation if needed.
- Development of proactive issue resolution programs.
- SLA review and recommendation updates.
Litigation Management - Issues/Case Management:
- Collaboration with internal/external counsels for risk plans.
- Monitoring, reporting, and action planning for legal issues and cases.
Litigation Management - CorpSec, Notarization:
- Monitoring and reporting of corporate secretarial services.
- SLA review and recommendation updates.
Operational Planning:
- Monitoring, updating, and reporting on operating plans.
- Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and proposing action plans.
Retainer Management:
- Facilitation of SLA/Retainer review, approval, and monitoring.
Real Property Management:
- Monitoring improvements for declaration to assessors.
- Review and approval of payment of Real Property Tax (RPT) dues.
Projects/Initiative Management:
- Monitoring operational readiness reports.
- Issues resolution and action plan recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor graduate
- With experience in dealing with government agencies in the power industry and the Local Government Units
- With at least two (2) years of leadership experience
- Willing to travel across the Philippines
- 1 vacant position in La Trinidad, Benguet/ Davao City, Davao Del Sur/ BGC, Taguig City
