QA Intern  

Overview:

As a member of the XWORK team, you will be engaged in testing activity throughout the application and website configuration and system deployment life-cycle. This a paid internship opportunity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Quality assurance analysis
2. Design, prioritize, and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts
3. Analyze, interpret, and communicate qualitative and quantitative findings from tests
4. Prepare test reports
5. Monitor bug resolution efforts and track results and known defects
6. Support requirements
7. Analyze business and system requirements
8. Communicate and interpret business processes and system requirements between the client and development team
9. Support change management
10. Support the efforts of change management and interact with stakeholders
11. Participate in customer and team meetings

4. Ability to confidently advise and communicate verbally and in writing to senior management
5. Experience directly communicating verbally and in writing with or supporting an end-user community
6. Excellent interpersonal skills
7. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, emerging growth environment

Desired:

1. Knowledge of the Federal procurement process

2. Experience with the software development life-cycle and agile software development methodologies

3. Previous testing or QA analyst experience
