Summary:
As the Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for growing the company's Business, increasing its revenue, and finding new business opportunities. This role oversees the Business Development team, but also looks for new markets, spots new growth opportunities, and works to build the companys exposure and brand within the eCommerce industry. They will constantly be on the lookout for new opportunities to expand the business and will be responsible for working within the management team to develop strategic plan in creating revenue generation opportunities.
We seek out people who have excellent interpersonal and technical skills, with a customer-focused and commercially-driven mindset as well as a proven track record with sales cycle management.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that Key Accounts and above is able to meet revenue and adoption targets across the different solutions
- Ensure that the team is seen by brands as the key consultants in eCommerce investment optimizations, driving traffic to and on the platform, by ensuring a certain level and quality of service to key partners while managing the teams workload
- Drive the direction and strategy on how to achieve revenue targets given the current landscape (competition, brand behavior, obstacles to adoption, brand budget, solution ramp up capabilities, brand education efforts)
- Drive the Sponsored Display conversation with key internal (pricing, inventory, landscape) and external (package and solution positioning) stakeholders
- Develop and implement internal and external processes and procedures (order fulfillment, partner onboarding, etc.) to support an efficient, seamless customer experience and see if theres a room to improve efficiency and performance.
- Lead, guide and assist direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures
- Set performance objectives, provide the necessary support, evaluate/appraise the team and provide regular feedback on performance
- Represent the team and its objectives when coordinating with internal stakeholders other MS teams, Commercial Heads, campaigns team, regional team
- Oversee Account Management
- Be present in investment discussions with.
- Accompany team members in negotiating with Key Accounts when necessary
- Understand managed clients consumer funnel, goals, and strategy and help the team strategize on how to consult with their accounts. Ensure that top brands are given insightful optimization and budget allocation recommendations
- Provide overall direction on how the team can support brands/sellers/their agencies to build efficient media plans (from planning to execution to post-mortem)
- Set the cadence on how the team looks at key performance indicators, campaign performance, and how often business reviews are conducted with each account tier
Kualifikasi Minimum
- 5-8 years of experience in brand/account management
- Brand/digital performance marketing/agency experience is a plus
- Advertising sales experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills to be able to represent the team to top brands, key accounts, and Commercial team
- Firm, strong personality to be able to guide brands, sellers, and agencies to ensure proper usage of tools
- Strong sense of focus to be able to guide the team towards an effective strategy to deliver KPIs
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills to help the team have the correct thought process in account performance analyses
- Strong project management and coordination skills to be able to liaise with different internal and external teams
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a clear sense of ownership, quality and timely delivery work
- Willingness to learn in a fast-moving environment
