Web Developer  

Job Duties:

• Design, create and maintain web content to meet client requirements.
• Providing internal support and external customer service throughout the build and launch the process of the website
• Collaborate with developers for design requests
• Ensuring website function and stability across devices i.e. desktop, mobile, tablet
• Assisting the marketing team with their requests such as banners and marketing materials.
• Manage and mentor junior designers in weekly one-on-one advanced design concepts coaching sessions, and provide feedback on practice assignments.
• Joining weekly meeting of IT team leads

Requirements:

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others
• Excellent communications skills
• Can work independently and with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript
• In-depth knowledge of web design and maintenance
• Advanced experience with search engine functions and optimization (SEO/SEM)
• Experience with web page versioning/source control and Content Management Systems
• Adobe Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Other Software in use: Sublime, Filezilla, Mattermost, and Microsoft Office
• Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies

Qualifications:

• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, APIs, and GIT.
• Proficient in My SQL.
• Experience with a server-side framework such as PHP and Java
• Experience with js frameworks such as React.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Graphic Design or a related field with a minimum of three years of experience
• Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus
