Visual Merchandiser  

Responsibilites:

• Liaising with teams such as buying, design and marketing to create design themes and plans, often months in advance, including window and in-store displays, signage and pricing concepts;
• Conducting research on current and future trends in design and lifestyle, and associated target market features;
• Meeting with business, sales managers and retail managers to discuss sales strategies;
• Creating visual merchandising packs to communicate visual guidelines including layout principles, visual dressings and signage - usually applies to those based in a head office;
• Maintaining a budget and negotiating with suppliers of visual materials;

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Fine Arts, Industrial Design, Advertising, or any related course
• Knowledgeable in graphic softwares: Corel draw, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, In-Design and Google Sketchup
• With experience in an advertising agency, fashion retail (clothing, shoe, accessories, etc.) company or fashion-related magazines, an advantage
• Creative and imaginative
• Can come up with creative and artistic concepts for in-store displays
• Can take over of the visual look of the store
• Must be able to conceptualize new and fresh store designs
• Proactive, assertive and with strong initiative
• Willing to travel within and outside Metro Manila
