Full Stack Developer | Ruby on Rails | JS  

We're a rapidly growing startup in the travel industry and we are looking to expand our IT team.

The product:

TravelExchange is a new comprehensive B2B marketplace for guaranteed departures as well as an advanced booking engine.

It is a powerful and user-friendly tool that gives Receptive Operators the freedom to upload and manage their products, pricing and client relationship when at the same time generating new business from our network of Tour Operators everywhere in the world.

This is an industry game changer.

The team:

It’s team of 5 headquartered in San Francisco California with a presence in New Orleans.

We total more than 60 years in the B2B Tourism sector and we are all passionate about streamlining the biggest industry on the planet.

Our business knowledge and connections coupled with smart and relevant technology has allowed us to grow very rapidly since we went live (3 months ago).

The position:

• This is a full-time tech lead position Remote, starting ASAP.
• Understand and maintain the current platform.
• Development of new features front/back.
• Working closely with the Business in a small agile development team.
• Help to scale our infrastructure.
• Technical support when needed (very rare).

The stack:

Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Some bootstrap, Heroku and AWS, Rspec, Github

• 3-years or more of experience on Ruby on Rails front and back development with JS.
• Able to take over, maintain and deliver production code for a fully functioning web app.
• Use to/ willing to work remotely with a significant time difference (daily connection but face to face meeting only twice / year).
• Very flexible and looking for a fast pace environment.
• Willing to take the technical lead as the team grows.
• Looking for a long-term challenge!
