Deskripsi Pekerjaan
The role of the Applications Development Manager is to plan, coordinate, and supervise the activities related to the design, development, and implementation of applications in Transcom. This role is also responsible for maintaining, supporting, and upgrading existing systems and applications. This individual will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to guide his/her development team on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of business-critical application systems.
- Responsible for leading a team of developers/engineers in design, development, test, and deployment of custom applications in accordance to standard policies and procedures and provide status and updates to management.
- Deliver timely results and set definitive expectations as part of project planning and scoping.
- Directly manage customer communication for support issues and applications-related development projects. Manage escalations, facilitate appropriate resources, and communicates status with stakeholders
- In conjunction with peers and department head, makes recommendations on system enhancements to increase the business value of internally developed applications.
- Stay up to date on technology and proactively monitor technology trends
- As a global company many duties may need to be performed on clients schedule and on demand basis to respond to unscheduled events.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Programming.
- Expert knowledge in object-oriented design and development
- Experience in MS SQL, Oracle and MySQL
- Expert in .Net and Web Services; Experience in Java, Python, PHP and Delphi
- Strong experience in Agile Scrum; experience in using Jira is an advantage
- Experience with source code versioning, release management and debugging
- Experience of 5 years or more in leading a technology service delivery entity.
- High level of Call Center technology industry knowledge
- Capacity to translate business needs into clear technology proposals.
- Ability to work in a geographically and culturally diverse environment.
- Analytical and process driven mindset.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Experience in Application operations management
- Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude.
