Content Writer  

The Content/Copywriter will help the team with content creation, blog content, and social media content. Must have the ability to create content with a purpose and provide information, advice, and resources to the company's brand's audiences. He/she will be responsible for writing primarily the company's digital marketing publications and promotional materials for web and social media channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write a 500-word minimum SEO optimized blog articles weekly that Is relevant to Terry SA brands.
• Create content for our social media platforms (Twitter. Facebook, Instagram)
• Generate topics that are engaging and will boost site traffic and conversion
• Ability to write copy for digital marketing projects. Including but not limited to:

1. Website mockups
2. Email campaigns
3. Collaterals
4. Product Launches
5. Case studies, white papers, infographics
6. Landing pages

• Improves organic search results through effective headlines, body copy and websites
• Ensures websites are filled with optimal keywords
• Places keywords appropriately in copy to gain most search engine traffic
• Writes effective call-to-action statements
• Effectively uses header tags
• Keeps abreast of white hat and black hat tactics so as not to violate search engine guidelines

• College graduate, preferably in Journalism, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, or Social Sciences
• 2 years of marketing/copy writing/editing experience
• Demonstrate a firm grasp on crafting compelling content
• High aptitude for proper writing technique, including spelling, punctuation, syntax, and grammar
• Must be proficient in SEO and how to implement it
• Working knowledge on blog creation standards in Shopify and Wordpress
