Payroll Officer

The responsibilities of the Payroll Officer are the following:

• Onboards, prepares, and issues employee contracts to new Tanda employees.
• Prepares employee payroll on a fortnightly basis.
• Prepares and pays superannuation as required.
• Prepares payment summaries for employees.
• Maintains employee data in Xero Tanda and other files.
• Reviews expense reimbursements, travel allowances, and pays as required.

• Finance/Accounting qualifications or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year Australian payroll experience.
• Knowledge and experience of Xero accounting software is desirable.
• Good knowledge of Australian tax laws, payroll legislation, and superannuation.
• Proficient in Excel and other Office tools.
• Ability to work in a highly demanding environment.
