Xepto Senior Systems Engineer  

• Designs and implements computer systems, software and networks includes defining complex system requirements, determining system specifications, processes and working parameters, and formal testing
• Work on all the networking technology from the physical layer to the application layer.
• Develop and complete actions in system specifications, technical and logistical requirements and other disciplines
• Create and maintain programmatic and technical documentation to insure efficient planning and execution
• Manage and document system configurations
• Successful candidates will initially be deployed to a high-profile multimillion peso R&D project for the government involving open source, linux, thin client, and cloud technologies. They will interact with some of the brightest minds here in the Philippines as well as top calibre engineers from Silicon Valley.
• They will be exposed to other leading edge technologies such as high-performance storage systems using SSDs for virtualized environments such as VDI and fiber to the premises networking equipment. The company has strong partners with well-known conglomerates in the Phils as well as with a highly regarded and very successful Filipino engineer turned billionaire venture capitalist in the United States.

• 5 plus years experience in computer system integration with strong preference in Unix/Linux systems.
• Experience in programming and understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining open source IT infrastructure technologies in the areas of cloud architecture, security, authentication, monitoring, backup and recovery, etc.
• Experience in virtualized environments involving thin client technologies
