Job Summary:

As a Shopify Web Developer, you are expected to break the norm and make Shopify do things it's not supposed to do. Your role is crucial in enhancing our online store, ensuring it’s user-friendly, and maintaining its seamless operation. By stretching the boundaries of Shopify's capabilities, you will collaborate closely with our marketing and design teams to create an engaging, cohesive, and innovative online brand presence. Your ability to think outside the box and implement creative solutions will drive our online retail platform to new heights.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy dynamic and responsive web pages and features
• Customize Shopify themes and create custom Shopify themes to meet design requirements
• Optimize the website for speed, SEO, and overall performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the website, including user interface issues, and ensure cross-browser compatibility
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, design, and operations) to ensure a consistent brand representation
• Manage and maintain the technical aspects of the Shopify platform, including app integrations
• Monitor website analytics and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to keep our platform modern and competitive

• 3+ years of experience working with Shopify and Liquid programming language
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and React
• Experience with web analytics, SEO, and website optimization tools
• Strong understanding of responsive design and experience with cross-browser compatibility testing
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholder
