Marketing Writer  

Spiralytics, Inc. is looking for a writer/blogger to work with our Content Marketing team. For those not so familiar with Content Marketing, we won't hold that against you. Content Marketing is the creation and distribution of visual material (in this case, most commonly blog posts and articles) to drive interest in brands. As a Marketing Writer, you'll be getting expertly acquainted with a market niche and producing content for consumption within that niche. Our marketing clients represent varied niches -- from digital marketing to advertising, and everything in between.

You will be working closely with our Editor and Content Strategists to produce expert-level articles, with the aid of our sophisticated tools to help you learn a niche.

This is a great position for anyone with a background in marketing and has a strong grasp of written English -- and if you're looking for a full-time opportunity to work in a rapidly growing company with many opportunities to learn and climb the ranks with us.

The position requires a weekly commitment of 40 hours per week in Makati.

Responsibilities:

• Study industry niche(s). You will learn to be an expert in your given field.
• Generate article topics. You will know the happenings and interests in your given field.
• Write blog posts and articles in a punctual and grammatically sound fashion.
• Study Content Marketing trends and techniques.

• Degree in English, Journalism, Writing, Communications or in Marketing, Sales, and similar - or equivalent professional experience (editorial, blogging, copywriting, etc.)
• At least 2-3 years professional experience.
• Excellent written English. Many of our clients are international and from abroad, so your writing must stack up to a global standard.
• Great time management skills. Punctuality. We publish regularly and frequently. If you can't keep up with a reasonable editorial schedule, or you're inclined to miss the occasional deadline, then this job is not for you.
• Internet savvy.
• Can work under pressure with minimal management.
• Willing to work in Makati.
• Excellent communication skills.
