Tax Manager  

The Tax Manager is responsible for the Company’s tax compliance, tax planning, accounting for taxes and approval of tax returns prepared by the Senior Tax Accountant. S/he will take ownership for all tax-related concerns and will report directly to the Group Controller and/or Chief Finance Officer of the Company.

• Facilitate and manage the preparation and review of the Company’s tax returns and the accurate and timely filing of all tax forms
• Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in Company tax procedures
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary taxes
• Manage all members of the tax team as they prepare components of the Company’s income tax return and other tax documents
• Plan for and develop overall return calendar and coordinate timing and inputs with tax team
• Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process
• Monitor any tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the tax team and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation
• Provide support with various audits and special tax-related projects
• Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections
• Manage and mentor members of the team to greater level of effectiveness and engagement

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, must be a CPA (Certified Public Accountant
• Extensive tax knowledge
• Strong Financial and Analytical Skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Good organizational skills
• Proactive problem-solving skills
• Strong experience with a variety of tax operations; with at least five (5) years of experience in a tax manager role
