Senior Merchandise Manager | Produce  

Job Objective

• To support the Fresh Vice President in the various tasks necessary to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow process.

Specific Duties & Responsiblities

• Manage assortment mix in line with the category strategy, sales, and gross margin target, and inventory levels.
• Vendor Sourcing (Local & International).
• Demand Forecasting, negotiating prices and volume requirement with vendors.
• Oversee purchasing process of the Produce Department.
• In charge of stock level, pricing, in-store promotions, and exit plans.
• Sales and Margin Analysis.
• Collaborate with VP to develop pricing and marketing plan.
• Monitor and control overall expenses and budget management.
• Come up with guidelines and processes for Outright vendors.
• Build good rapport with vendors.

• Degree holder of Marketing and/or any Business Administration course/s.
• Has at least 5 years of experience in the Produce Category.
• Well-versed in sourcing vendors within the Philippines, various fruits and vegetables.
• Being experienced in sourcing imports is an advantage.
• Must have good negotiation skills, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must have strong analytical skills, and be good with numbers.
• Willing to work in C5-Libis, Quezon City
