Full Stack Developer  

Job Summary:

Full-stack developers build the front-end and back-end design of websites and software applications. They create design plans for the user-facing side of applications, which controls look, feel, and function. They also structure the back part of an application, which manages program logic and server database interaction. Full-stack developers are trained to understand what is going on between these two interfaces and possess the variety of software skills needed to work on both. People with a strong desire to learn a multitude of technologies and programming languages with a can-do attitude will thrive in this role. Full-stack developers are problem-solvers who work in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment alongside other engineers and developers.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Develops front-end website architecture.
• Designs user interactions on web pages.
• Develops back-end website applications.
• Creates servers and databases for functionality.
• Ensures cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
• Ensures responsiveness of applications.
• Works alongside graphic designers for web design features.
• Sees through a project from conception to finished product.
• Designs and developing APIs.
• Meets both technical and consumer needs.
• Stays abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
• Validates input before submitting to back end
• Collaborates with team members and stakeholder
• Bridges the gap between graphic design and technical implementation
• Defines how the application looks and how it works
• Translates UI/UX design wireframes to actual code
• Meets tight deadlines as required

• University Graduate on IT or any related sciences
• 5 years and up of solid experience 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber.
• Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and .Net.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving benchmarks
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Flexibility and adaptability
• The ability to create and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and customers
• Business awareness and understanding of business requirements of IT
• A willingness to keep up to date with developments in new technology
• An understanding of information legislation, such as the Data Protection Act.
• Experience in creating detailed reports and analysis
• Must be very detail-oriented so as to avoid the possibility of errors and serious loss
• Must have basic knowledge of project control techniques and principles, and ability to perform comprehensive forecasting and analysis
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
