Software Engineer | Java  

As a Software Engineer specializing in Java, you'll be working in a collaborative environment in support of developing new web-based applications and implementing enhancements that integrate within the various application systems.

• A minimum of 5 years of Software Engineering experience with strong Java programming skills.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience implementing enterprise-scale, distributed, and data centric applications.
• Experience using SQL (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, mySQL).
• Preferred experience in Object Oriented Design and Programming in Java; Object Oriented and Java EE/J2EE Design Patterns and Related Frameworks, (e.g., JavaServer Faces (JSF), Spring Framework, Maven, Servlets, ESBs (Mule, etc.), SOAP/REST Web Services, Tomcat/Jboss/Wildfly Application Servers.
• Open Source Application Frameworks such as Spring Framework, Hibernate, Flex, Log4j, Eclipse RCP, and ICEFaces/PrimeFaces.
• Scrum or experience in similar Agile development methodologies.
• Preferred experience in Web 2.0 Technologies such as AngularJS, jQuery, CSS3, HTLM5, Less.
• Integrated Development Environments, Case Tools, Design Patterns, and Object-Oriented Development.
• XML and related technologies such as XSLT, XSD, XQuery, XPath, Soap UI.
• Continuous Integration (CI) such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to think creatively.
• Application of sound judgement, strong problem-solving skills able to work within a collaborative environment and autonomously.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field; 5 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
