Property Accountant  

Responsibilities

• Responsible in the over-all accounting functions and maintaining the books of accounts of the property.

• Prepares the following monthly financial reports for submission to the association’s Board of Directors and head Office no later than the 20th day of the succeeding month:
  • Balance Sheet
  • Statement of Revenue and Expenses
  • Cash Flow
  • Variance Analysis (Comparison of Budgeted versus Actual expenses)

• Maintains the following property’s books of accounts on a regular basis:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Journal Voucher Book JV)
  • Cash Receipts Book (CRB)
  • Cash Disbursement Book (CDB)
  • Subsidiary Ledgers (SL)
• Performs other tasks.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounnting.
• Must have at least 2 years actual experience in all areas of general accouning, specifically financial statements preparation and bookkeeping.
• Background in condominium accounting is an advantage.
• Must be proficient in computer applications.
• Team player & people oriented.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Hardworking with commitment to excellence.
• Fast learner and can work under pressure with minimum supervision.
