Accounting Manager  

Specific Duties and Responsibilities•

• Oversee the accounting department, as shared services for the two companies thus ensuring proper monitoring and maintenance of all facets of accounting systems and procedures
• Oversee the approval and processing of payroll and employee company and government-mandated benefits
• Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards in relation to cash disbursements, cash incentives, payment of wages and benefits, and monthly sales.
• Ensure timelines, accuracy, and usefulness of all accounting reports as required by Top Management.
• Provide sound analysis on basic reports and give practical recommendations on how to improve the current systems and procedures
• Conduct a thorough audit of the basic accounting reports and able to correct or provide a remedy for any discrepancies noted during the audit procedures
• Maintain good relations with external auditors and do collaborations for the resolution of any audit findings and recommendations with the approval of the Top Management
• Perform other functions that may be assigned

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• With Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) is a must
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Retail Industry experience is an advantage.
• Highly analytical and keen on details
• Flexible, self-driven, organized, and result oriented
• Has Outstanding Leadership skills
