Deskripsi Pekerjaan

The Finance Controller will be responsible for the following:

  • Overall accounting and financial management requirements
  • Local tax authority compliace including filing the local tax with the concerned authority on a regular or monthly basis
  • Monitoring all applicable local tax compliance and ensure taxes are charged correctly and collected
  • Preparing and reviewing annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and operating results
  • Verifying all financial reports and ensuring all transactions are accurate and compliant with local government regulations
  • Overseeing internal, external, and regulatory audit processes
  • Supporting and liaising with the CEO and GM in meeting the strategic goals of the organization
  • Ensuring disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to the industry standard
  • Monitoring and improving construction and operation costs, profitability, and manage business risks
  • Ensuring profits and losses are documented accurately


He/She is also capable of and competent to:

  • Prepare and submit management reports prompty while ensuring delivery deadlines
  • Implement all accounting policies and procedures effectively
  • Ensure a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard company assets
  • Assist with cost control requirements proactively
  • Assist with revenue enhancement possibilities
  • Assist with profit improvement opportunities for the hospitality business operations
  • Ensure property policies are administered fairly and consistently


Other responsibilities expected of him/her are:

  • Assist on building an efficient and professional team of Accounting and Finance Department
  • Provide excellent leadership, differentiate top performers, and foster teamwork and collaborative work environment
  • Achieve and exceed goals such as performance goals, budget goals, and team goals
  • Conduct regular weekly finance department meetings
  • Establish and maintain open and collaborative relationships with employees
  • Celebrate successes by publicly recognising contributions of team members
  • Participate in the employee performance appraisal process and provide regular feedback
  • Any other tasks as deemed required by the management

Kualifikasi Minimum

  • Certified Public Accountant (highly preferred and prioritized)
  • At least a graduate of bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Proven strong financial knowledge and background
  • 5 to 10 years of financial and management experience with the day-to-day financial operations in real estate development or upscale hospitality environment (4-5 star)
  • Has relative experience working in a mulitcultural work environment
  • Highly proficient in Google Suite/Workspace and MS Applications
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Excel
  • Adept in using Accounting Systems like Sun, SAP, Sage, Freshbooks, Xero
  • Knowledgeable of Hotel Software or Property Management Systems like FIDELIO, OPERA, Protel, etc.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in the English language both verbal and written
  • Strong and sound financial and business decision making
  • Analytical and logical
  • Very well organized



This requirement is for a client building a business here in the Philippines. We are looking for a professional individual who has a proven work experience in Finance and Accounting in a real estate development industry or hospitality environment. This individual must be comfortable working in a multicultural environment and should have a startup mindset and passionate in working together to build the business.


The work can be done remotely until the office in BGC, Taguig is ready.


Processing of application and interviews will be from November to mid-December. Onboarding expectation is by January of 2022.
