Accounting Staff for Accounts Payable  

Verifying

• Reconciles processed works by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balance
• Pays employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing checks
• Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
• Verifying documents
• Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.

Records

• Charges expenses and insurance to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/ expense reports; recording entries
• Maintains historical records by microfilming and filing documents.
• Disburses petty cash by recording entry
• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

Reports

• Reports sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices.
• Preparing analysis of accounts and producing monthly reports.
• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

Other tasks may be assigned from time to time.

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking
• At least one (1) year of experience in Accounts Payable
• Can work under pressure
• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
• Amenable to work in Pateros
