Primary Tasks
Production Coordinators regularly communicate with local and international clients through emails, chats, and phone calls about their translation and localization needs that involve Philippine languages. They are responsible for analyzing, negotiating, and confirming job orders. They also help in assigning projects to In-house and Freelance Linguists, and ensuring that the clients' expectations are being met without compromise while keeping the deadline and quality requirements in mind. They do accurate and timely recordkeeping of the department's business transactions. They are responsible as well for delivering the jobs back to the clients and handling any post-delivery follow-ups.
Secondary Tasks
Production Coordinators may help with the recruitment and training efforts of Freelance Linguists, and to a lesser extent, of In-house Linguists. They may be asked to assist with any Sales and Marketing efforts. And lastly, they may be assigned to represent the Philippine Languages Department and the Company in virtual and physical client calls and language conferences.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Educational background: College graduate, preferably a degree in Marketing Management, Business Management, Organizational Communication and the like
- With commendable bilingual skills--oral and written communication skills in English and Filipino
- With change management, crisis management, project management, resource management, and negotiation skills
- Flexible and can work under various shifts (i.e. 8AM-5PM, 9AM-6PM, 11AM-8PM, 3PM-12AM, 11:30PM-8:30 AM) as assigned, on a rotational basis (monthly or quarterly)
- With strong work ethics, and can work with zero to less supervision
- Can work under time pressure, in a fast-paced and unconventional environment, knows how to multi-task and to prioritize between urgent and important
- Preferably lives in Marikina, Antipolo, or nearby areas
