Copy Chief  

The Copy Chief is responsible for leading the copy development process through the various review phases of the creative plan. Owns the product quality for the discipline he/she represents and makes an effort to collaborate with the other creative disciplines to deliver the highest quality product. Also in charge of supervising the Copywriters of the Creative Services Department.

As the Copy Chief, you will be be able to experience..

• Writing solid, intelligent, brand-appropriate, creative pieces in a variety of communication forms (eg, advertorial, press releases, advertising) for a variety of audiences (eg, healthcare professionals, patients, consumers)
• Exhibit strong creative ability, as shown in ads/other forms of communication.
• Contribute strategically to the long-term vision of the brand, internally and with the client.
• Submit copy/concepts to Art Director and Account Executive in a timely fashion.
• Maintain strong relationship with Creative Services, Editorial, and Advertising Sales
• Identify opportunities to generate work with clients beyond already-contracted activity

Educational Background- Degree in advertising, marketing, design, writing, or journalism, or other related fields.

Years of Related Experience- At least three (3) years

• Highly articulate and skilled in writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy

• awareness in commerce and popular culture
• knowledge in advertising techniques and new industry trends
• Should also have an insight to other people's points of view and take on board feedback
