Daily Recording and Bookkeeping

• Ensure that the following transactions are recorded in the books as they occur:
  • Cash Advances
  • Liquidation of cash advances
  • Purchases
  • Cash disbursements (Checks, Telegraphic transfers, Manager’s checks)
  • Sales
  • Collections from clients
• Ensure that before recording, transactions have been verified to be properly supported with documents and have been audited where warranted.
• Prepare schedules to support the balances as reported in the Trial Balance specifically for Accounts Receivables and Advances to Officers and Employees.
• Coordinates with Accounting Assistant and/or OIC for Finance concerning missing transactions/documents (CA, Liquidations, TTs and MCs).
• Provides Trial Balance report to Finance & Accounting Head on a monthly basis.
• Prepares adjusting entries where necessary.

Others

• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness in the work station;
• Uses department’s resources, i.e., utilities and supplies judiciously;
• Adheres to the provisions of OneCommerce’s rules and regulations;
• Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.

• Preferably with MBA or a CPA;
• Knowlegable in all facets of Accounting and Fixed Asset;
• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
• Can start ASAP.
