Offshore Concept Consulting's Junior Payroll Officer Training Program is a 3-year program designed to prepare, train, and mentor high performing individuals for managerial finance positions.
As a Payroll Officer, will get exposed to handling the financial books of businesses that the company manages on behalf of its clients. You will also provide immersion on all things Finance, a very attractive position for someone who has ambitions of climbing up the corporate ladder or starting her/his own entrepreneurial venture in the future. Your responsibilities include calculating employees’ compensation, updating our internal payroll databases and ensuring timely payments. To be successful in this role, you should have a flair for numbers and be able to handle sensitive information. If you’re also familiar with labor legislation, we’d like to meet you. The key function of the role is to facilitate a smooth and accurate payroll process.

Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Payroll Lead in providing technical functions in key payroll-related areas and campaigns
- Collect daily, weekly or monthly time logs
- Calculate bonuses and allowances
- Prepare employees’ compensation by the end of each month using payroll software
- Schedule bank payments or hand out paychecks directly to employees
- Distribute payment statements and gather signed receipts (digital or paper)
- Report on payroll expenses
- Ensure wages and tax withholdings comply with regulations
- Enter new employees’ data (e.g. bank accounts and tax identification numbers) into internal databases
- Answer questions about compensation, benefits, taxes and insurance deductions
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Graduate of Accountancy, Business Administration, Financial Management or any 4-year financial/managerial-related course
- Strong analytical and planning skills
