Lead Test Engineer  

This position requires strong technical and interpersonal skills with a focus on test automation and test engineering.

• Recruit, retain, and develop great test engineers who form a cohesive team capable of learning and growing.
• Plan and develop test automation frameworks as well as the end-to-end test cycles.
• Responsible for defining test strategy, approach and execution in development projects.
• Lead, motivate, and inspire team members to deliver high-quality test automation.
• Promote and instill essential test automation and software engineering practices.
• Increasing the efficiency and productivity of team members by enhancing the test techniques.
• Focus on continuous testing improvements including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques and test automation.
• Building and maintenance of quality standards as well as enforcing technical and testing standards.
• Evaluate team members throughout the life of the project(s) to identify areas where improvements can be made.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Information System, Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent professional experience in software testing
• Minimum of 4+ years or comparable software testing experience
• Knowledge and experience on mobile automation using Detox
• Knowledge and experience on web automation in using Cypress
• Proven test management and planning experience
• Proven experience in manual and automated testing for mobile/web applications and API
• Proven knowledge and experience in CI/CD pipeline automation
• Strong proficiency in using Git
• Having general cloud knowledge and containerisation using Docker
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to work well within a team and under your own initiative
• Prior success leading teams and managing projects

Preferred:

• Knowledge and hands-on experience in using AWS/GCP/Azure
• Exposure on Agile Methodology with scrum
