Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Teach and plan a full curriculum in web development, five days a week in-person class, for 12 weeks (20 hours of teaching time per week).
- Inspire students through the challenges of learning web development and provide 1- on-1 office hours, and workshops outside of class time.
- Work closely with two local facilitators/assistants to provide students with meaningful and prompt feedback on their progress.
- Work alongside the NXTLVL team to best meet the needs and learning styles of NXTLVL students.
- Guide students through development of an impressive final project that will showcase their abilities to hiring managers.
- Facilitate a dynamic and collaborative classroom community both inside and outside of the classroom.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- You are eager to educate, motivate the minds, and skill sets of a new generation of web developers.
- You have the drive to help Filipinos become leaders in tech and support the country’s start-up ecosystem by making it possible for people to learn, gain, and apply high- value technology skills.
- You are the type of person who is approachable that colleagues and students can come to when they are trying to figure something out.
- You have at least 2+ years of professional web development experience.
- You have fluency in the following topics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails or Python/Django, SQL and No-SQL databases, a front end frame work such as AngularJS, Ember.JS or React.JS, search algorithms, data structures, and git.
- You have previous web development or teaching experience acquired through a
- course, team training, tutoring, private lessons etc.
